Birthday and Football

I am 31 and loving it. We had drinks with a few friends at the Tiki Hut by the beautiful Coligney Beach on Hilton Head. Stuart got me exactly what I wanted the Harry Potter series. Thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday. You sure know how to make a girl feel special.
The next weekend Stuart and I decided to go up to the Carolina Panther preseason game in Charlotte, NC. We got great seats only 9 rows back on the 45 yards line. The hotel we booked was right next door, so we didn't have to worry about driving. We got greeted after check in by the lovely lady above because they were throwing a tailgate party. You know Stuart and I were definitely down to start partying. Then we walked to the stadium and bought Stuart a hat and me a tattoo to show our team spirit.
The Panthers won the game! We ate tons of junk food, drank beer and just had a great time. We will defenitly have to go to a game next season. Though the drive from Charlotte to Hilton Head can be really painful when you are a little hungover..lol

Dad's 60th Birthday

Happy 60th Birthday to my Dad. I went up to Dells, Wisconsin for a long weekend to celebrate. The photo is when we went to a mexican restaurant and let it slip it was his birthday. It was good to see everyone. I had a lot of fun and miss you all!

NEW CAR Mazda Tribute 2005

The Green Machine is Gone! Or as some of you know it the Brittany Mobile. I love my new car because it doesn't smell like mold or leek every time it rains. Also, it is very cute and spacious which is what I wanted, and Stuart got what he wanted good gas mileage and low miles. It took us forever to find the right car, but that just gave us time to save up more money. Goodbye old car. Can't say that I will miss you.

Our good friends Dave and Siobhan from Australia are vacationing on Hilton Head for 2 weeks for their honeymoon. It has been so good to see them again. We had them over for a BBQ and to watch Aussie Rules Football that we recorded the night before. We have also shown them around to some of our favorite watering holes. We definitely are not looking forward to seeing them go.
Over the Memorial weekend we hung out with Dave and Siobhan on Saturday at Up The Creek and then at Burt and Lacey's house on Sunday. They have an awesome backyard with an extra huge fire pit as you can see. One of our friends had a bit of a problem when he locked his keys in the car. Us girls just sat back and laughed when all the men were standing around the car trying to figure out what to do. In the end, they got the keys out and we had a very relaxed evening. Happy Memorial Day to you all!

Stuart and I have been together for 4 beautiful years now. We both can not believe it has gone by so fast. I can't wait to see how our life together is going to turn out.
I was a lucky girl getting these flowers and being taken out for dinner at the Old Fort Pub in Hilton Head Plantation for our anniversary.

Dave And Bec's Wedding

Stuart and I went back to Anglesea, Australia in March for his younger brother Dave and Bec's wedding. It was so beautiful! I stayed over the night before the wedding with Bec and she was so excited to making a life with Dave. The wedding day Janice (Stuart's mother) and I got our hair done. They had a bus come and pick us up so no one had to worry about driving which was a very good thing by the end of the night. They had a awesome band play the reception. Peter(Stuart's dad) and I dance most of the night. I did drag Stuart out for one song with the help of the Bride. The next day Dave and Bec had a recover party before they were off for their honeymoon. Marriage is wonderful and may you have many years to enjoy it.

Holidays

Happy Holidays to All! I know it is a bit late but better late then never. Stuart and I had a quite holiday season on Hilton Head this year. We caught up with all our friends through out the season and just enjoyed the life. This Christmas Stuart and I both spoiled each other. He got a Playstation 3 with a few games and I got the diamond bracelet I have wanted for a long long time. New Year's was spent at our favorite little Irish bar with a few friends. 2010 looks to be an exciting year. We have booked our tickets for Australia! Stuart's brother is getting married and we wouldn't miss it. I can't wait to see our family and friends. In June, my Dad is having his 60th birthday at the Dells in Wisconsin which should be a lot of fun. Who knows what the rest of the year will bring but we are looking forward to it.

And if Theo is reading hello and I can't wait to see you!
